Fresh New Images from 43einhalb Ahead of April 4th Release
Nike is once again tapping into nostalgia with a modern twist, and the latest leaked images from retailer 43einhalb give us a closer look at the highly anticipated Air Max 95 “Neon Big Bubble”, set to release on April 4th. This update on the legendary silhouette blends classic elements with an upgraded Air cushioning system, making it a must-have for both OG fans and new collectors alike.
A Closer Look at the Design
From the newly surfaced images, the Air Max 95 “Neon Big Bubble” stays true to its roots with the iconic gradient grey upper, transitioning smoothly from dark black at the mudguard to lighter greys near the mesh panels. This signature fade effect has always been a defining trait of the “Neon” colourway, originally introduced in 1995.
However, the biggest change lies in the enhanced “Big Bubble” Air unit, which is noticeably larger than standard Air Max 95 releases. The visible Air units in the forefoot and heel pop in their signature volt neon yellow, giving the sneaker a bold contrast against the black midsole. This larger Air cushioning nods to the recent trend of Nike revisiting early Air technology, following in the footsteps of last year’s Air Max 1 “Big Bubble.”
Further details include bright neon lace loops that weave through the layered upper, providing a vibrant contrast and reinforcing the sneaker’s distinctive look. The classic mini Swoosh embroidered in neon green on the lateral heel remains intact, a subtle yet essential detail. The tongue features a white mesh finish with the signature Air Max logo, adding to the retro aesthetic.
Enjoy these fresh visuals from 43einhalb of the new Neon as we inch closer to the official release date. Keep an eye out for additional retailers announcing their launch details soon!
